Mommy-training update

I'm not sure what made me think yesterday was a good day for "Mommy-training" (because, really, isn't that what potty-training actually is?) considering we are going to be in SF all weekend, but I think everyone should know that Jackson wore big boy underpants ALL day yesterday and we only had 1 accident. Considering we usually only get him to sit on the potty once a week, several successes in 1 day is pretty huge for the little man. I just had to brag. We're far from there, but we are definitely on our way! And here is a completely unrelated but still adorable photo.

Making 'Sagna

I like to help Mommy in the kitchen. I'm really good at it. I even have my very own apron with a choo choo train on it. The other day, I got to help her squish up the meat for 'sagna. I love to go "squish, squish, squish" and stick my fingers in gooey meat and eggs. Maybe someday I'll be a chef just like Uncle Joey.

When Drew Came To Visit

Last weekend, my friend Drew and his Mommy and Daddy came to visit. We had so much fun! We did lots of playing, and I was a very good boy and shared my toys. We also went to one of my favorite places, the Butterfly Conservatory! I don't think Drew liked it as much as I do, but we had fun running around. We also went to see the big waterfalls downtown and had a picnic. I love picnics! The best part, though, was when the Easter Bunny came. That silly bunny hid eggs all over our house. And guess what. They had CANDY in them! Lots and lots of candy! Easter has to be the best holiday of all. You get candy like you do for Halloween, but you get presents like you do at Christmas! Well, not lots of presents, but I got my shakey ball and Finding Nemo and a racecar and a few other little things, too. It was lots of fun. I was sad when Drew had to leave. It was nice to have a buddy to watch Blues Clues with. Mommy says I'll see him again this summer, though. We might even get to go camping in a tent together. Woohoo! I love camping in tents!
