Bananas and Sweet Potatoes

So the first time Mommy gave me rice cereal, I really liked it.  I had four whole bowls!  I knew she had been holding out on me!  But after a while, I realized there was something different about the food that Mommy gave me and the food she and Jack and Daddy ate.  Their food is so... colorful!  And solid!  I wanted what they were having.  I just knew she was STILL holding out on me.  So, I decided I wasn't going to eat that rice junk anymore.  I figured she'd eventually get the message.  No more rice.  No more oatmeal.  I want something with color.  Then one day she let me share a banana with Jack.  It was soooo good!  I could hardly believe it!  Finally, here was something worth opening my mouth for!  And then, a few days later, she gave me this orange stuff she called Sweet Potato.  Daddy is concerned I'm going to turn orange.  Apparently, both Mommy and Jack did.  But I don't care.  If I get to keep eating sweet potatoes, I'll gladly be a pumpkin for Halloween.  Mommy and Jackson have been telling me all about Halloween.  It sounds like so much fun!  Now I just have to figure out how to get Mommy to mash up all that candy.

I'm glad you are enjoying your fruits and veggies! You are in for a treat when you taste your first strawberry rhubarb pie, or nona's apple crisp. Just need to wait a little bit longer!

I can't wait to see you in less than 7 weeks!
